What does the Global Talent Immigration Policy talk about?

The UK is calling for the recognized leaders and talented workers to increase their workflow. The global talent immigration visa is a personal immigration program for promising, talented, and skilled individuals wishing to build their career in the UK. The UK prime minister Boris Johnson announced on January 27th, 2020 about the major changes in the Global Talent.

  • It was replaced by the Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa on 20th February 2020.
  • The applicants need to go through a two-stage verification program, endorsing application & immigration application.
  • Application for non-academic fields of arts and culture and digital technology will be referred to as the Arts Council England or Tech Nation.
  • It grants you to work for five years without any sponsorship or any language testing.
  • It comes with benefits for the applicant partner and dependents who wish to establish a long-term connection in the UK.
  • There is a temporary concession for researchers working on COVID-19 and can apply for it by 31st January 2021.

You can renew the application several times, and you must be aware of the changes brought in without notice.
